Hewlett-Packard Simple Port Replicator - F4808A

The F4808A Simple Port Replicator provides a convenient solution for users who want to use their notebook in a similar fashion to a desktop computer. The Port Replicator or Docking Station, enables you to use a standard monitor, mouse & keyboard with your notebook without the fuss of having to plug & unplug cables when you want to go mobile again. Power and network access is also provided via the port replicator as well as all of the additional ports listed below.

Important Note: Please ensure your notebook actually has the replicator docking port on the base of your system. Some models have the same case as others, but do not actually have the replicator port. Your notebook manual will confirm whether or not you can use a port replicator with your system.

This original HP notebook Port Replicator (ver. 1.0) only supports USB 1.1 equipped systems. When an HP notebook supporting USB 2.0 is docked into the original Port Replicator (ver. 1.0) USB devices will not function properly. Although the other ports will function as normal, the USB ports will not.
